At Madison County Goldens, we’re dedicated to raising AKC registered Golden Retrievers with beautiful dark coats and wonderful temperaments. Our mission is to provide families with healthy, well-socialized puppies who bring years of love, joy, and companionship. With careful attention to health and early socialization, we ensure each puppy is ready to become a cherished member of your family.
About Us
We’re tucked away in the little town of Hull, just a short drive from the University of Georgia. While UGA may be famous for their Bulldogs (Go Dawgs!), our hearts belong to Golden Retrievers—we’ve loved and raised them for more than 20 years. We’re not a kennel; our dogs live right here in our home as part of the family. We keep things small and personal, with only two breeding dogs at a time. Right now, that’s Dejah and Carter (bonus points if you caught the Edgar Rice Burroughs reference in their names!).
Meet Our Beautiful Goldens
Dejah and Carter welcomed their beautiful litter on August 31, 2025 — six sweet boys and three precious girls! All of the puppies are thriving and will be ready to join their forever families at the end of October. The only question is… which little bundle of joy is calling your heart?
Meet Dejah and Carter
Carter
Meet Carter! He's an AKC Registered Golden Retriever and one of the best looking goldens I've ever seen. He's sturdy and muscular, and never met a tennis ball he won't fetch - or a squeaky toy, or a stick, or really anything else he finds. True to most Golden Retrievers he is rarely serious, most of the time he is goofy and playful. He is 3 years old and will want to be your best friend within half a second of meeting you. He won't go in the pool but loves being sprayed with the hose! This is his third litter.
Dejah
Meet Dejah! She's an AKC Registered Golden Retriever with a gentle personality. She is the perfect people-pleaser, despite her youthful indescretions where she destroyed a few pillows. She is smaller in size (like most golden females) but very energetic. If we are in the pool, so is Dejah. She loves to swim! She is a champion stick fetcher. This is her third litter and she is a FANTASTIC mom! She delivered unassisted and is very attentive. She is constantly checking on the pups, giving them baths, and making sure everyone gets fed.
